Chester Carlson invented a dry printing process called electro photography commonly called a Xerox. It was the foundation technology for laser printers to come. In 1953, Rmington-Rand Developed the first high-speed printer for use on the Univ ac computer. The original laser printer called EARS was developed at the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center beginning in 1969 and completed in November 1971. Xerox Engineer Gary Stark weather adapted Xerox copier technology adding a laser beam to it to come up with the laser printer. According to Xerox, They released \u201cThe Xerox 9700 Electronic Printing System\u201d, the first xerographic laser printer product,\u00a0 in 1977. The 9700, a direct descendant from the original PARC \u201cEARS\u201d printer which pioneered in laser scanning optics, character generation electronics, and page formatting software, was the first product on the market to be enabled by PARC research.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<h3 class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"><span class=\"mntl-sc-block-heading__text\" style=\"color: #3498db;\">IBM Printer<\/span><\/h3>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_1-0-7\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">\n<p>According to IBM, \u201cthe very first IBM 3800 was installed in the central accounting office at F. W. Woolworth\u2019s North American data center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1976\u201d. The IBM 3800 Printing System was the industry\u2019s first high-speed, laser printer. A laser printer that operated at speeds of more than 100 impressions-per-minute. It was the first printer to combine laser technology and electro photography according to IBM, too.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"mntl-sc-block_1-0-9\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-heading\"><span class=\"mntl-sc-block-heading__text\" style=\"color: #3498db;\">Hewlett-Packard<\/span><\/h3>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_1-0-10\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">\n<p>In 1992, Hewlett-Packard released the popular Laser-jet 4. It was the first 600 by 600 dots per inch resolution laser printer. In 1976, the engineers invented the inkjet printer, but it took until 1988 for the inkjet to become a home consumer item with Hewlett- Packard\u2019s release of the Desk-jet inkjet printer, priced at a whopping $1000.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"mntl-sc-block_1-0-14\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-heading\"><span class=\"mntl-sc-block-heading__text\" style=\"color: #3498db;\">The History of Printing<\/span><\/h3>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_1-0-15\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">\n<p>\u201cDiamond Sutra\u201d is the Earliest dated printed known book which was printed in China in 868 CE. The material to be printed was carved into wood, stone, and also metal, rolled with ink or paint and transferred by pressure to parchment or vellum. Members of religious orders\u00a0mostly\u00a0copied\u00a0Books\u00a0by\u00a0hand<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_1-0-18\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-adslot mntl-block\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_1-0-19\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">\n<p>Gutenberg\u00a0was a German craftsman yet inventor. Gutenberg is best known for the Gutenberg press, an innovative printing press machine that used movable type. It remained the standard until the 20th century. Gutenberg made <a href=\"https:\/\/sepehranformatic.com\/en\/product\/xid-8300-card-printer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">printing<\/a> cheap.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_1-0-20\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-adslot mntl-block\">\n<div id=\"mntl-block_9-0\" class=\"comp mntl-block\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_1-0-21\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">\n<p>Marriott Mergenthaler\u2019s invention of the lino type composing the machine in 1886 is regarded as the greatest advance in printing since the development of movable type 400 years earlier.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_1-0-22\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-adslot mntl-block\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_1-0-23\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">\n<p>F.E. Gannett of Rochester, New York, W.W. Morey of East Orange, New Jersey, and Morkrum-Kleinschmidt Company, Chicago, Illinois The first demo of Walter Morey\u2019s \u201cTeletype setter\u201d, developed teletype setter, a device for setting type by telegraph, which took place in Rochester, New York, in 1928.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_1-0-24\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-adslot mntl-block\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_1-0-25\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">\n<p>Louis Marius Moyroud and Rene Alphonse Higonnet developed the first practical phototypesetting\u00a0machine. The phototypesetter that used a strobe light and a series of optics to project characters from a spinning disk onto photographic paper.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_1-0-26\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-adslot mntl-block\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_1-0-27\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">\n<p>In 1907, They awarded Samuel Simon of Manchester England a patent for the process of using silk fabric as a printing screen.
