1- Securing the card before printing it
These feature are creating by the card manufacturing factories and on the cards during the production of the card, and it is very difficult or impossible to re-create these security outside of this type of factories. Some of the pre-press security features include:
1-1- Having shapes and logos with ultraviolet color on the front and back of the card:
In this case, the desired shapes cannot be seen in the normal state and we can see them only when they are placed under the ultraviolet light.
2-1- having shapes and logos with infrared color
In this case, the desired shapes cannot be seen in normal mode and we can see them only when they are placed under infrared light.
3-1- Using micro text technique:
Conventional card printers are capable to print information on cards with DIP300 accuracy. Now, in this method, in the factory, very small information is printed on the card with an accuracy of up to 1600 DPI using the OFFSET method (this information can sometimes only be seen with the help of a magnifying glass). No printer is able to print this information. Some designs can be printed with the new XID8600 series printers with 600DPI accuracy.
4-1- Using guilloche lines
In this case, similar to the previous case, a series of very thin and irregular lines are printed on the card with a precision of up to 1600 DPI.
5-1- Anti-copy lines (Protection Against Copy)
These lines are designed in such a way that when copying, the shape of the copied image is different from the original, and from this difference, you can find out whether the card is original or fake.
6-1- Using special colors in card security solutions:
In this case, with the Silk Screen method, shapes are printed with special colors that have different colors at different viewing angles. It is worth mentioning that existing printers are not able to produce and print these colors.
7-1- ICI technique in card security solutions
In this case, the design of the preprint on the card is such that everything is normal and normal, but when the special lens is placed on the card, new forms appear.
8-1- Transparent technique
Cards where a part of it is transparent and the logo of that organization can be displayed on the transparent part.
9-1- Thermal ink in card security solutions
Printing the desired logo or text with a special ink that fades due to heating the desired point.
2- Creating security in the card when printing it
Such security is created when the card is printed on them, and since this is done with the help of a printer, it can be done with another printer as well. As a result, the degree of importance of the type of security is lower than the other two types.
1-2- Shadow imaging technique in card security solutions
In the security solutions of the card, when we are in printing card process, while the full photo of the card holder is printed, his photo is reprinted in a dim color and in the background of the card and behind the text information.
2-2- Placing several images on top of each other
In this method, it is possible to mix several images together. For example, bringing the signature and stamp of the institution on the photo of the card holder.
3-2- IPI technique
This method is very similar to the ICI technique in section 1-7, except that the secret information is placed in the image of the cardholder.
2-4- Ultraviolet printing (blue color)
Considering that the XID series 8 and 9 printers have the ability to print the ultraviolet security layer, with the help of the YMCKUV ribbon of these devices, this security can be created in the cards.
3- Creating security in the card after printing it
1-3- After finishing the card printing, in order to increase the security of the card and also to have an additional cover to preserve the printed information, it can be hologram. Holograms are offered to the market in two forms: metallic (cold glue and hot glue) and transparent. If the vision is to completely cover the surface of the card, it is recommended to use transparent holograms, which are divided into thin and thick groups. The security percentage of thin holograms is higher than that of thick holograms, but the lifespan of cards with thick holograms is longer.
